Learning project
This learning project teaches your participants how important it is to respond to the different needs of all team members. Each member of the group can only make a personal contribution to the solution if they are supported by everyone else through effective communication.
Implementation
The majority of participants put on Blindfolds (the difficulty of the learning project decreases the fewer participants have their eyes covered). The ‘blind’ participants are given the task of transporting a ball placed on a metal ring from the starting point to the target base and placing it there without dropping it. Standing in a circle, they control the ring in their midst with the help of strings; the trainer should ensure that these are held at the ends and not shortened. The task of the ‘sighted’ participants is to coordinate the movements of the ‘blind’ participants and control the overall process so that the ball reaches its destination. Touching is not allowed. The degree of difficulty can be individually adjusted by freely positioning the starting and target bases (for example, by placing them on the ground or at different heights). You can remove individual strings depending on the number of participants. If you want to carry out the project outdoors and increase the excitement, why not use a raw egg instead of a ball?
