We have already found many words. So it's all the better that we can now share real impressions with you. Take a moment and simply press ▶️play.

We believe that solidarity is an important, fundamental factor in a society such as ours and that we, as entrepreneurs, can make a significant contribution. We see ourselves as co-creators of this world and want to do more than just talk about values such as integration and participation; we want to create and experience them in our everyday lives, hour after hour.
METALOG® has developed a close relationship with various workshops for people with disabilities through a production partnership that has grown over many years. As an internationally active company, we ensure high and continuous utilisation of capacity in the workshops. The employees on site have a wide range of opportunities to actively participate in working life and work in a team, depending on their knowledge and skills. They carry out their work with great attention to detail and genuine commitment. In this way, each individual valuable tool is created piece by piece by hand.

Our colleague Anna-Lena takes you behind the scenes and explains why working with workshops for people with disabilities is so much more than just part of the production process for us. Because sometimes it's the stories behind the products that are most touching.

Worth reading, honest and full of heart.

📖Workshops of opportunities

Move your mouse over the images and get a feel for how our tools are created step by step.

CollaborationPuzzle is created in numerous detailed work steps. For example, several wooden plates pre-machined by the computer-controlled milling machine are meticulously glued together – so that later on the rods fit perfectly.

The rods are positioned next to the workstation, ready to hand and waiting to be used.

“Collaboration” is also the name of the game in production, where the colleagues work hand in hand on a single tool. Finally, the tool is given a thorough inspection: does everything really fit like it should? In the last step, the METALOG® logo is burned into the wood. Then the next CollaborationPuzzle is placed on the table.

The wood milling machine for the round parts of the PerspActive is set up professionally and carefully monitored. Tobias Voss has the employee show him the work process in detail.

The cords are then tied on and the hose adjusted. Several employees also work hand in hand on this tool.

The PerspActive makes our production team particularly proud, as it is manufactured with a great deal of demanding manual labour. As intensive and lengthy as the process from the development of the tools to their series production is, the emotion and learning experience at the end rewards everyone who uses the tool.
