SoapBox Expansion Set Scope of delivery: 1 kit for 1 additional vehicle.
Learning project
Several teams are given the task of designing a vehicle and developing a marketing concept for it in separate work areas. The SoapBox cars are then presented in a show drive and checked for safety by the ‘TÜV’ (Technical Inspection Agency). A METALOG® training tool for fun learning with a wide range of applications.
Implementation
Each subgroup is given the task of designing a vehicle that includes a braking system and a steering system. In addition, the SoapBox car must be able to transport one person. It is powered by up to two HP (horse power). In addition, the vehicle naturally needs a logo with an accompanying slogan. An important highlight of the task: the vehicles should be as identical as possible in terms of construction, but differently designed. During development, the team leaders of the design teams meet regularly for discussions in a separate area to make detailed arrangements. In the ‘Change’ variant, the teams work on the vehicle for a certain period of time and are then assigned to continue working on another team's vehicle. The spectacular finale of the learning project is the presentation of the vehicles at the ‘TÜV’ and the subsequent SoapBox parade.
