Three teams each construct a CataPult. These can be used in many different areas. They are particularly useful for optimising performance in organisations, for working on the topic of cooperation, or in the broad field of continuous improvement (CIP) for topics such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc. The range of a CataPult is up to ten metres. Implementation
Performance: As many balls as possible should be transported as far as possible via three CataPult stations. The group jointly sets the goal and then organises itself according to this chosen target. The exciting version when it comes to optimally achieving goals together.
Cooperation: Three teams position themselves in the room so that balls can be shot in a triangle. Each team builds a catching device out of flipchart paper. For each ball that reaches the target, a certain number of points are awarded. But the catching team also receives points. This version is particularly suitable for teams and organisations where balance and cooperation within the system play a role.
CIP/Lean/Six Sigma: Numerous variables on the CataPult influence the quality of an individual ball throw and its flight distance. These variables should be analysed in order to make each individual shot accurate and repeatable. An indispensable tool for optimising continuous quality improvement (CIP), for example in the context of Six Sigma training.
Scrambled eggs: If you want to offer your team something unusual, have them construct an egg catching device out of flipchart paper. The goal: to catch the egg intact. But first, the CataPult must be optimally adjusted with test shots using balls. Then the first egg is launched... The outdoor event version.
