Implementation

The group is divided into 4 teams. Each team pursues the goal of exchanging or buying/selling parts through fair and skilful negotiation. The task of each team is to complete a whole shape from these parts. In three trading phases, the teams meet and try to sell at a high price and buy at a low price. Between these trading phases, they meet in team meetings to further develop their strategy and agree on concrete steps. As in a real market, new information constantly comes into play that influences events and requires a response. At the end of the trading phases, the teams give each other feedback. ‘How did you find interacting with the others?’ is the question here. The key point is that this mutual feedback can be debited or credited to the team's overall result, as in a ‘relationship account’. This means that a team that was initially behind in terms of numbers can end up in first place thanks to trustworthy negotiation. It's a constant balancing act between appreciation and profit.
