Learning project
Many people are usually involved in working on solutions to complex tasks. The Pipeline is a clever learning project with lots of action. It offers you an excellent metaphor for mapping and discussing handover processes and communication flows within organisations, systems and groups with your participants.
Implementation
The group is given the task of transporting a ball over a certain distance to an agreed destination. However, the ball, which represents a jointly worked on project, must not be touched; the Pipeline, a system of halved plastic tubes, serves as the means of transport and may only be used by the participants according to certain, pre-agreed rules. How will they manage to successfully realise the project? In this fast-paced, highly stimulating task, organisation and coordination within the group lead to success.
