Coaching tool: The MeBoard was developed by an international team of coaching experts from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Turkey. It is a highly flexible working tool for coaches and consultants, but also for trainers and process facilitators in the field of personal development. It offers low-threshold access to ‘heavyweight’ topics in coaching, helps with visualisation and supports the development of goals and visions, helps translate inner questions into visible and actionable concrete steps, creates access to emotions, creates clarity and supports the activation of personal resources, supports dissociation processes, generates wow effects, enables deeper access to working with roles, values, etc.
Seminar/workshop: Here, the MeBoard allows new approaches to models that work with four types or sectors, such as DISG, HBDI, MBTI and many others.
Practical: The MeBoard can be used flat on a table or hung, e.g. on a flipchart or door.
Implementation: After working with the MeBoard, each member of our development team came up with their own favourite variations. We would like to briefly introduce a few of them here:
Role coaching: The four sectors are each assigned personal roles, e.g. father, manager, friend, business partner. The next step is to find three to four characteristic images for each role and add short descriptions. The result is a very powerful approach to resources and values that play an important role in all roles. This approach is then illustrated with a central image in the middle.
Goal coaching: The four sectors are labelled clockwise with the terms ‘goals’, ‘resources’, “obstacles” and ‘first steps’. In the same order, we search for images and descriptions for these terms. At the end, a conclusion is drawn by means of a final image placed in the centre of the MeBoard.
Life area coaching: The four sectors are labelled with the terms body, creativity/self, relationships and vision. With the help of a question to which one would like an answer, five images per area are drawn at random and kept face down. Revealing these images is like answering the question asked. One or two terms per sector are then noted down.
