OurĀ FacilitationBalls have become popular tools for trainers and coaches. By popular demand, we have created a second set. To help you get the most out of your conversation starters, we are presenting the tool here as both a feedback instrument and a coaching tool:
Area of application as a feedback instrument:
The moments immediately following a learning project are important for participants and trainers. This is when feelings are reflected upon and conclusions are drawn. The evaluation process gets going... but only if it is properly guided. The moderation balls help you to moderate the evaluation in a structured way. Simply throw a few balls into the group. A participant with a FacilitationBalls comments on their experience, depending on the ball. Then they throw the ball to another participant with a different ball, and it is their turn. This gets the reflection process going. They can also be used effectively at the end of a workshop if you want more authentic closing rounds. Following a specific system, the moderation balls are thrown into the group at the end, and each participant can comment on a topic that is important to them.
Area of application: coaching tool
Every trainer, coach and supervisor knows that asking the right questions is an art! Questions focus attention and act like a magnifying glass. They āenlargeā what has been asked. For example, they help to shift the focus from a problem-oriented perspective to a solution-oriented one. Or they allow you to look at a topic with more distance. In this way, the coach and coachee can take a meta-perspective. Our moderation balls act as a ātangible languageā. The coachee can āhold onā to a question and is inspired by the haptic stimulus on another sensory channel. This adds a new dimension to the āart of questioningā when using moderation balls in individual coaching or in small groups of 2ā5 participants.

FacilitationBalls 3 as a feedback tool:
Of course, you can give the moderation balls the meanings that you think are appropriate for your group situation. Here are a few examples:
Magician: āWhat was a magical moment for you?ā
Microphone: āWhat else would you like to say?ā
Lighthouse: āWhat are you (still) looking for?ā
Flower pot: āWhat gives you strength?ā
Butterfly: āWhat makes you fly?ā
Ear: āWhich moments resonate with you?ā
Cloud: āWhat cloud is hovering above you?ā
